The Product Line Director, EOD is responsible for the application of subject matter expertise in the key EOD applications. The role requires a commercial bias in order to create customer confidence at Med-Eng, our capabilities and solutions.


Deep customer network knowledge is required for the identification of problems, needs, and requirements in order to provide guidance on the appropriate Med-Eng solution or to direct opportunities for new product and solution development. Must be able to lead by example and create a positive work environment.


This position will lead product, market and customer research and analysis activities related to the creation of the Product Line’s Strategic Three-Year Plans and Annual Operating plans.



  • Acts as a subject matter expert for EOD applications;
  • Responsible for developing effective strategies, market development, and sales support;
  • Perform Market analytics to properly develop commercial offerings, market messaging, go to market strategies and product positioning for the global markets;
  • Leads customer/market/product solution definition while collaborating with Sales, Engineering and R&D to evaluate, modify, develop, and prioritize products to meet customer requirements;
  • Manage the evolution of our products’, services’ and technologies’ life cycles, based on an in-depth knowledge of our clients’ needs and of our markets;
  • Develop and deploy the Team’s best practices in terms of portfolio management and projects (product development process);
  • Develop Three Year Strategic Plans and AOP;
  • Developing and presenting technical presentations;
  • SME support to develop and win large project and revenue opportunities;
  • Act as single point of contact for the EOD product line;
  • Contribute to the identification, targeting, organization and content development of company and market events and trade shows;

  • With enthusiasm for the work, an inquisitive mind and focused attention to detail, you handle volume and complexity, and deliver quality and insight.


    • Minimum 7 years’ professional work experience in a similar role, working in industries with dynamic and complex trends, technologies and YoY growth goals;
    • Leadership experience preferred;
    • Must have a minimum of an undergraduate degree with a quantitative background. An MBA is preferred;
    • A proven track record as a business leader, extensive experience in customer service focussed on life saving solutions;
    • A proven track record as a leader, delivering successful projects, reports and outcomes in a fast-paced and demanding setting with ongoing competing deadlines;
    • Strong proficiency in the MS Suite of programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
    • A proactive, assertive and organized work approach, applying strategic and critical thinking;
    • Ability to anticipate the needs of clients and project team members to produce meaningful results and outcomes on time and on budget;
    • Excellent business writing skills, with an ability to provide context to the reports/presentations;
    • Strong presentation and communication skills;
    • Excellent program, project and time management skills;
    • Passionate to learn about new technologies and in understanding Med-Eng’s value proposition in the overall market context;
    • You have an ability for building cohesive and high-performing teams.
